Warm invitations to join our Homemade Holiday Mingle for A Cause!
The Artis Artisan Bazaar is coming this November 22-23, 2025 Saturday & Sunday from 9AM to 5PM at Antipolo Beehouse, Antipolo-Taytay, Rizal.
This initiative aims to bring together the local community to celebrate and promote support and awareness for local not-for-profits Tungtong River Conservation Project and Kanlungan ni Maria - Home for the Elderly through hosting artisan booths and holding a free community Stitch-a-Wish parol, and workshops.
How does the gift of experience sound? Rather than the usual, we offer intentional activities you can gift to yourself, to friends and family, young and old alike --- like pottery, journaling, sewing, watercoloring, as well as nature activities like river cleanup, tree planting, birdwatching and forest bathing.
Set aside a day (or two)in an open mountainside home and driveway, we offer you an alternative way to prepare for the Christmas Season in Antipolo.
Oh please bring your own reusables (shopping bags, jugs, etc). This is a zero-waste event.
We hope to see you there! Your support for this event through participation or donation will go a long way in providing extra help to the below beneficiaries.
Kindly consider sharing this with your friends and family who in one way or another, connect with these causes and would like to support. We can accept donations, and gift certificates if you’d like the workshop to a present for someone too!
BENEFICIARIES
The event raises funds to support not-for-profits below:
Tungtong River Conservation Project
The Tungtong River Conservation Project (TRCP) is a student-centered initiative started in 2007 by the Holistic Education and Development Center (HEDCen) to protect and restore the Tungtong River, located in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines. The project focuses on youth involvement, with HEDCen students regularly participating in activities like tree planting, trash collection, and watershed conservation to bring back native forests and wildlife to the river's habitat.
Kanlungan ni Maria Home for the Elderly
Kanlungan ni Maria Home for the aged is a nursing home for the elderly and the handicapped. It started its operation on May 1, 2022, a project of then-Bishop of Antipolo, Crisostomo A. Yalung, D.D. and now under the pastoral care of Bishop Francisco M. De Leon, D.D. The idea came from Reverend Father Bienvenido Guevarra who established and run the former Bahay Kalinga, a home for the aged in Binangonan, Rizal. Inspired by the love and care of Our Lady of the Abandoned, Patroness of Kanlungan ni Maria, the leadership team continues to serve the residents of the home.
